Journalist
I am a reporter on the foreign policy team at Reuters in Washington, D.C., where I cover U.S. sanctions policy, foreign policy toward Africa and the State Department. I have covered the rollout of U.S. sanctions on Russia after Moscow's invasion of Ukraine, Washington's efforts to enforce its sanctions and the U.S. response to the conflict in Ethiopia, among other issues.
I joined the Washington bureau after completing an Overseas Press Club Foundation fellowship with Reuters in Brussels, where my reporting focused on the European Union's energy and climate policy. Throughout my fellowship in Brussels as well as my prior internship with the bureau, I also helped cover Brexit and the 2019 European Parliament elections. I first started at Reuters as an intern on the foreign policy team in D.C.

I hold a Bachelor of Journalism in Print and Digital News and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Missouri.
