Daphne Psaledakis is foreign policy reporter with Reuters in Washington, D.C. She covers the U.S. State Department, regularly traveling with the U.S. Secretary of State. She has reported on some of the most pressing issues of the day, including the war in Gaza and Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Prior to covering the State Department full time, she also reported on U.S. sanctions and foreign policy toward Africa.

Daphne joined the Washington bureau after completing an Overseas Press Club Foundation fellowship with Reuters in Brussels, where her reporting focused on the European Union's energy and climate policy. She also helped cover Brexit and the 2019 European Parliament elections. Daphne first started at Reuters as an intern on the foreign policy team in Washington.

​Daphne holds a Bachelor of Journalism in Print and Digital News and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from the University of Missouri.
